I have had the privilege of working alongside Josh for many years through the Western Communities Football League (WCFL), where he has served with distinction as a board member, treasurer, and now as president. Having previously served as president myself, I can say with confidence that Josh’s dedication, integrity, and vision have been instrumental in advancing our mission and supporting our community.
Josh is not only a proven leader but also a highly successful financial advisor, bringing a wealth of experience and sound judgment to every role he takes on. His ability to navigate complex challenges, manage resources responsibly, and make thoughtful decisions has earned him the respect of colleagues and community members alike.
Beyond his professional and civic accomplishments, Josh is a devoted father to four wonderful sons and a true friend. I will never forget the heartfelt speech he delivered at my own son’s bar mitzvah. It was a testament to his character, warmth, and genuine care for others.
Josh leads by example, always putting the needs of the community first. His commitment to service, his strong moral compass, and his collaborative spirit makes him the ideal choice to represent Wellington on the Village Council. I am writing to wholeheartedly support Josh Zillmer in his candidacy for City Council. I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the kind of leader and neighbor he is, and I believe he would serve our community with integrity, vision, and compassion. For the past year I have been lucky enough to serve alongside him on the WCFL board as he is president of this organization.
One experience that stands out to me personally is the way Josh welcomed and supported my son in the local football program. From the very beginning, he demonstrated genuine respect, encouragement, and inclusivity, making sure that my son felt not only accepted but truly valued as part of the team. His thoughtful actions helped create a positive environment where every child, regardless of background or ability, could thrive and enjoy being part of the community. He always wants the kids to have fun, this message makes him stand out against all others in the sport world. We haven’t had the same experience in other sports or teams in our past and we have been so grateful to his leadership within the WCFL.
This level of care is not just about sports—it reflects Josh’s deeper character. He listens, he values people for who they are, and he works to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table. His leadership style is rooted in fairness, respect, and the belief that a strong community is built when all voices are heard.
I have no doubt that Josh Zillmer will bring the same inclusiveness, thoughtfulness, and dedication to his role on City Council. Our city will benefit greatly from his leadership and I will support him on this endeavor.
